The scientific aspect of drying...

In this unit we will discus scientifically.
I am a chemist.
My PhD was entitled; 

"Photocatalytic methods of decolourization and oxidation of dyes in aquatic solutions".

What was it all about? I was doing decomposition of organic waists by using solar energy (I mentioned I was going to speak on scientific terms!)

Let me explain;

During summer (at least in Greece) do you mind bout leaving too long your washed cloths on the sun, because then they will not smell either detergent not softener? 
The sun decomposites all the substances that make your cloths smell like spring! 
Well, it decomposites also other stuff that remain at the diapers after washing and, most of all, it disinfects them!
Therefore, me (and some other relative speaking sites) I consider drying at the sun being the best for cloth diapers. My personal experience says that some small residues really go away after staying at the sun for a while and the diapers get whiter...
Ok, it cannot substitute very good washing, but since bleach and softener are forbidden (because of the destruction of the cloth fibbers and the reduction of their absorbance) and since we have lot of sun in Greece, why not using it? 
Let alone that it is one of the few free stuff you can get!

Anyway, most companies claim that cloth diapers can be o the dryer, but nobody allows you to use the radiator (I guess due to the PUL cover). 
You should not ever use iron, as well. Probably due to the same reason.
